Africa In Renaissance

Opening March 29th Till April 5th

Every great civilization has a teacher. Europe's Renaissance its art, its science, its philosophy, its architecture did not emerge from nothing. It was seeded by knowledge that travellers, scholars, and explorers carried back from Africa, particularly from ancient Egypt. Greek philosophers like Pythagoras, Plato, and Aristotle are recorded to have studied in Egypt, sitting at the feet of African priests and scholars before returning home to build the foundations of Western thought.
